Learn To Play The Guitar

My twelve year old son told me that for his birthday he wanted to learn to play the guitar. He had inherited an old Fender guitar from his great uncle, and had really wanted to learn how to play it. I found a company that offers guitar lessons melbourne and signed him up. Now his favorite thing to do is attend guitar lessons. Not only is he learning how to play a music instrument, but he is making new friends too. Before my son was shy, but playing the guitar has really brought home out of his shell and made him lots of friends!

I wonder if this crazy day and age has made us devalue the importance of still photography.  Everything is in moving pictures and video it seems but I’ll tell you that sometimes I can get a lot more out of a photograph than a movie.  A photo can capture just the right look or moment where an entire video doesn’t convey nearly the same thing.  That’s why getting a good portrait photographer Lincoln is so important to do once in a while, especially for fast growing little ones.   Take the time to get some old fashioned photographs taken once in a while. 

That’s Not Rock

My friend and I were talking about our favorite Rock Music songs, and apparently he thinks that Coldplay is both a rock band and good, of which they are neither. I don’t really see how he could count them as a real rock band, but whatever floats your boat I guess. Personally, I feel like Sum-41 and Blink 182 are great rock bands. Cage the Elephant is pretty cool too, but I don’t really listen to them. I really feel like rock is a dying genre though since you don’t hear it much on the radio, which sucks. Here’s hoping for a Renaissance of Rock.

I Guess You Could Say

I have drawn up so many different things to get myself worked on but I can never get the guts just to walk in. One of these days I will just walk right in and say I want a frangipani tattoos, who can do it? I wish it worked like that but it doe not. The frangipani is so stunning and can even be noticed from far away. It grows in warm parts, found in Australia. It is truly unique and smells so different from any other flower, it seems to have a sweet smell. The smell is definitely something you should be glad to know.

A System that Quickly Teaches Guitar Scales

When my fellow band members and I decided to start doing live shows, I knew that I would need to learn the guitar scales better than I did. I scrambled to find someone to help me, but I didn’t seem to get anywhere. Finally, I found a system for guitar scales that was amazing. In a matter of weeks, I was playing much better than I ever had before. I consistently improved until I finally mastered the scales. My fellow band members were really impressed and also very proud to play to a live crowd with me as their lead guitarist.

My birthday was two months after Christmas.  Crazy Aunt Ida was still alive and still giving gifts to relatives, so I expected something like a dog bowl, since we don’t have a dog.  Aunt Ida surprised me though when she gave me a guitar for my birthday.  Since she had already given me a book with practice tips for guitar playing, I was all set to learn to play the guitar.  I didn’t get a chance to ask her at my birthday dinner why she wanted me to play the guitar so badly.  I figured I would asked her at the next birthday dinner for my sister Nancy.

You Don’t Have to Take Your TV Dish With You If You Move

We have had satellite TV service with Dish Network for several years. When we moved last year, we weren’t sure what to do about our tv dish. I contacted the Dish TV customer service department and they told me we didn’t have to do anything at all with our satellite dish. We only had to take our receivers with us to our new residence and Dish TV would bring a brand new satellite dish out to us as soon as we were ready for it. This is just another example of how wonderful Dish Network treats their customers. I couldn’t imagine having any other company for my satellite television provider.
